“Social Distancing” is a set of non-pharmaceutical interventions and measures taken to prevent the spread of contagious diseases by maintaining distances between people and reducing the number of times people come into contact with each other.
It could alternatively be referred to as “Physical Distancing”.
Following the outbreak of the coronavirus disease across the world and a directive by the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo for employers to ensure the strict observance of social distancing, Management of CMC has directed that;
All members of staff, including Departmental Heads and Regional Managers, follow a carefully designed roster, where a group of staff will either work for a week or a month, whichever is applicable, then another group would take over and follow the same arrangement until further notice.
This is to ensure that, the offices are not overcrowded and there is less person to person contact, thereby reducing the potential spread of the deadly coronavirus.
All are enjoined to continue observing the preventive protocols to enable us win the battle against our common enemy, CORONAVIRUS.
