The Managing Director of the Cocoa Marketing Company (CMC), Dr. Wisdom Dogbey, delegated a team led by Mr. Jamal Konneh, Deputy Director of Operations, to represent the company at the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE).
During a speech to stakeholders, Mr. Konneh underscored the Managing Director’s vision of fostering stronger partnerships and deepening international relations between Ghana and China.
Mr. Konneh reaffirmed CMC’s commitment to business continuity and emphasized the importance of promoting Ghana’s premium cocoa beans across the Asian market as part of efforts to expand its global footprint.
Genertec International, a subscidiary of China Light Import and Export Company and the largest importer of Ghana cocoa beans to China, acknowledged the vital role the company plays in the cocoa value chain in China mainland and reaffirmed her commitment to maintaining a long-standing partnership.
Mr. Konneh reiterated CMC’s dedication to delivering high-quality Ghana cocoa beans to international buyers and a resolve to sustain efforts aimed at increasing global demand for the commodity.
